Dubai, UAE: Oracle, the world's largest enterprise software company, has announced that Oasis Investment Company, (OIC) LLC, the holding company of the Al Shirawi Group, has selected the Oracle E-Business Suite to standardise best practices across its 30 different business companies, and increase overall effectiveness at all user levels.
The software implementation will spread across OICs diversified business activities, which range from manufacturing and engineering to printing, trading, distribution and logistics, and contracting, and enable OIC to integrate and consolidate business information across all of the group's companies. It will also allow OIC's decision-makers to plan more effectively at multiple levels from single user to the corporate level.
"Previously, our group companies had separate 'silos' of information about finances, human resources, procurement, and other key functions. We're now integrating and standardizing all of these processes with the Oracle E-Business Suite so we have a single viewpoint across the group," said M. Further it has been emphasized that Al Shirawi Group of Companies would be implementing best practices applications solution for their diversified business activities in their companies to enrich the operational effectiveness and offer competitive advantage as explained by Mr. Chaturvedi.
Oracle E Business Suite Distinct Advantage of Single Point of Data Entry across all the companies gives an advantage of flow of the business information and also visibility at every stage. Mr. Vikram Rao, ERP Manager stated that Oracles EBusiness suite one of the greater information provisioning strengths to enhance the efficiencies and to bring the Company's Financial and Vertical Operational information's in line with Modern Technologies such as RFID etc., and also the Oracle's ability in integrating the Vertical Application Business Information's into Core ERP Financial Systems to have Comprehensive & Global View across group companies.
Diversified business activities of the Group companies have dictated to select specific application modules such as Project Contracts, Advanced Pricing, Sourcing and Payroll, EAM and integrating with EBS as foundation.
