Molitor Racing Systems (MRS) is the latest team to join the Speedcar ranks. The new entry was announced on the advent of Speedcar Series’ race in Indonesia this weekend.

The German team will be represented by Asian Formula 3 Champion, Ananda Mikola and Formula Asia National Champion, Moreno Soeprapto in Round 2, racing on home territory at the Sentul International Circuit. The Indonesian drivers, previously part of the Speedcar team and sharing car number 18, will now have two MRS branded Speedcars for the weekend’s races.

MRS has a long motorsports history dating back two decades with a strong presence in one-make endurance racing.

With rain expected over both days this weekend, MRS seems to have an advantage in the two local drivers who are familiar with the track and the weather conditions. Ananda proved this in the qualifying session by making pole position for Race 1 on Saturday afternoon.
