DUBAI, UAE and CHICAGO, May 29, 2007 - Network International LLC (Network International), the preferred card solutions provider in the United Arab Emirates and the country's largest merchant acquirer, has engaged AmbironTrustWave Ltd. to validate the firm's compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).

AmbironTrustWave Limited is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chicago-based data security and compliance solutions provider, AmbironTrustWave.  AmbironTrustWave Ltd. is certified as a Qualified Data Security Company (QDSC) with the capability to perform PCI DSS validation work in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.           

Launched in December 2004, the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard is comprised of 12 data security requirements designed to protect sensitive information from being compromised. These requirements, which also include numerous sub-requirements, are applicable to all businesses worldwide that store, process and/or transmit cardholder information. The PCI DSS is endorsed by all the major credit card brands including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and JCB.

To meet stringent security requirements of credit card associations, Network International will submit to a rigorous review of its information security policies, procedures, and IT environment, which include the following components:

Penetration Testing or "ethical hacking" of their IT environment

Security Assessment to determine the effectiveness of current security controls

Remediation to ensure any areas of potential non-compliance were addressed

Security policy and procedure development

Internal vulnerability scanning to examine potential weaknesses within the network

Report on Compliance to benchmark Network International with the PCI DSS
