New display offers low TCO and outstanding ergonomics for ideal entry-level, wide format display for enterprises
Middle East, 14th April 2009 - NEC Display Solutions, one of the world's leading manufacturers offering the widest product range of display solutions, has announced the successor to its successful E221W display in the NEC MultiSync® "Enterprise" series - the NEC MultiSync® E222W. Great flexibility and strong ergonomic features characterize the new NEC MultiSync® E222W as the ideal entry-level wide-format display for daily office applications.
Ensuring a low total cost of ownership (TCO), the NEC MultiSync® E222W has been equipped with Eco Mode and several functions that limit its power consumption. These include automatic Stand-by and Power-Off Timer functions, which, along with operating the display in Eco Mode help to minimise power consumption. EPEAT* silver certification along with the integrated NEC Carbon Footprint Savings Meter calculating the saved CO2 emissions over the operating time of the display, underline the excellent environmental sustainability of the NEC MultiSync® E222W.

The 22" display offers an improved height adjustment capability (up to 110 mm) as well as pivot functionality. NEC Display Solutions has placed particular importance on Green IT. The LCD is certified with EPEAT* silver and has also been equipped with the NEC Carbon Footprint Meter. In addition to the ecological advantages, users benefit from the easy-to-use OSD buttons with an intuitive menu system and excellent economic performance. The NEC MultiSync® E222W perfectly meets the requirements of corporate office environments as well as for the SOHO and SMB sectors.
The display's comprehensive connectivity including digital and analogue input ports additionally emphasise its economic functionality. The pivot function enables operation in either landscape or portrait format.
The NEC Multisync E222W offers superior ergonomics with improved height-adjustability. VESA mounting allows for flexible installation options, whilst a practical hand grip to the rear of the device provides a convenient means for its transport.
Availability and Warranty
The NEC MultiSync® E222W is now commercially available through authorised partners across the Middle East region. The display is available in black or in white with a silver bezel. Included in the overall package are a power cable, VGA and DVI-D cables, a handbook as well as an installation and drivers CD. NEC Display Solutions Europe offers a three year guarantee for its devices, including the backlight.
