With the NEC WI1510 workstation, administrators can control application installation through the integration of TPM (Trusted Platform Module) technology on the WI1510, in order to avoid the spontaneous downloading of software. TPM technology also enables data on the hard drive, including temporary files and the swap file, to be entirely encrypted as part of a secure boot-up.
Equally with Intel's AMT management technology, administrators will also be able to manage all of their workstations with ease, either directly or remotely, being able to restart workstations even when they are switched off.
