Dubai, April 26, 2009: Neal's Yard Remedies (NYR), a pioneer of organic skin care and body care remedies from the United Kingdom today announced the opening of their first flagship store in region at the Wafi Mall in Dubai. The store in Dubai's Wafi Mall will offer a range of organic skin care and body care products and natural remedies. The new store in the UAE will stock and sell the majority range of the NYR products. The products available at the store will vary from bath and soaps, skincare products, body products, hair care, aromatherapy and massage oils, herbal remedies & gift sets. There is a special range dedicated for pregnant women & new mothers & an exceptionally wonderful range of baby products. These are absolutely natural and safe to use for new born babies & kids.

The chain opened their first store in the United Kingdom 27 years ago and currently has 38 stores across the country. NYR has 14 stores in Japan. The Wafi Mall outlet of NYR is the first venture outside the two countries.

Speaking on the launch of NYR in the region, Mr. Peter Kindersley, Chairman, Neal's Yard Remedies, (UK), said, We are very excited about our entry into the region. Neal's Yard Remedies is a pioneer of environmentally sensitive natural health and beauty and its approach is based on using pure natural ingredients with the minimum of processing.  All the farmed herb and flower ingredients are organic where possible, while other natural ingredients are 'wild harvested' and collected from hedgerows and un spoilt countryside. The first Neal's Yard Remedies shop opened in 1981 in a corner of Neal's Yard in Covent Garden in UK. In 1985, a small factory was opened in South London to meet increasing demand. In 1986 NYR opened two new shops and have continued to grow.

NYR aims to create cutting edge products with maximum amount of naturally derived materials, therapeutic organic herbal extracts and essential oils.
