National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) launched a Branch Managers Training Program for new branch managers as part of its effort to develop young leaders.

The launch of this intensive program was attended by NBK CEO-Kuwait Shaikha Al Bahar, NBK General Manager Human Resources Group Adel Hechme, NBK Head of Human Resources Group-Kuwait Emad Al Ablani, NBK Domestic Branches Manager Ahmed Al Khader, along with a group of senior leaders at the bank.

"This program is part of our continuing efforts to nurture and grow our young talent. I look forward to seeing the participants moving into key leadership roles in the bank," said Al Bahar.

Al Bahar added: The Branch Managers Training Program comes in line with NBK strategy to develop young leaders and improve their skills." Al Bahar urged the managers to maximize their training and wished them success in their career at the bank.

The program is tailored to provide trainees with theoretical and practical skills covering the different aspects of the banking industry, managerial duties, leadership core competencies, building a culture of excellence, management of change and innovation, performance measurement and management, effective communication, high performance teams, and self assessment skills.
