NAS Holding through its company nasair, the Saudi Arabian 1st Budget airline signed a highly coveted training contract as part of the program "Future Pilots", with Pilot Training College (PTC) Ireland. The contract involves ab-initio (beginner) Pilot Cadetship Programme for new trainee pilot cadets. The "Future Pilot" program is aiming to train 100 Saudi First Officer.
Sulaiman Al-Hamdan, CEO of NAS Holdings, nasair's parent company, commenting on the agreement said, "nasair is one of Saudi Arabia's leading airlines, flying passengers in the region to domestic and international destinations at smart fares. We operate with a fleet of some of the world's most modern aircraft and we require some of the world's best flying crew. The quality of the training is absolutely essential to the continued success of the airline and its growing reputation for excellence. We chose PTC following a full and thorough assessment of their training facilities and standards and we were satisfied that the Irish company could deliver on what we require, highly skilled pilots".

Pilot Training College (PTC) has been training pilots since Ireland's accession to JAR in 2000. PTC trains up to 200 pilots each year and operates from training centers in Ireland and the USA.
The PTC training centre in Melbourne, Florida USA is co-located with the Florida Institute of Technology (FIT) School of Aviation which is close to Cape Canaveral on the Space Coast. Here, students have on ramp access to modern aircraft featuring the very latest in technology and avionics.
