Dubai - United Arab Emirates, January 29th 2012: The eleventh edition of the Dubai World Dental Meeting started yesterday at the Novotel Hotel - Trade centre with more than 200 attendees and 5 speakers from the United States, France and Germany. The DWDM this year presents the latest and most updated practices and new trends in the dentistry field. 

The DWDM is an educational pre-course meeting, running prior to the UAE International Dental Conference and Arab Dental Exhibition - AEEDC Dubai, which is held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and President of the Dubai Health Authority. This year AEEDC Dubai celebrates its eighteenth anniversary and is proudly considered an international dental gathering that is recognized worldwide.  

A number of activities are taking place during the DWDM 2012, with a number of lectures and scientific sessions taking place in addition to the hands-on workshops delivered by industry leaders from every corner of the dental profession. The courses will provide a great opportunity for the dentistry professionals participating in the sessions to learn from the leaders of the dental community. The courses cover the following topics: Endodontics, Implantology, Restorative Dentistry, Dental clinic Management and Infection Control.  

The Dubai World Dental Meeting (DWDM) is a continuing education program organized by Index Conferences and Exhibitions Organisation Est. - member of INDEX Holding and in cooperation with the Dubai Health Authority. The DWDM touches upon the latest clinical developments in dental practice and is always keen to display the most updated trends and tools used in this industry.

The DWDM courses will continue until the 30th of January with accreditation hours from the  Dubai Health Authority, the ADA CERP and the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties. The DWDM will also discuss; the Current Endodontics: A Clinical Perspective, Introduction to Tekka Implants line and hands-on, Advance anterior composite: Diastema closure and direct veneers, Dental Practice Management: Much Has Changed, More Has Stayed The Same and Infection Control in Dentistry.
