2 October 2013 (Dubai, United Arab Emirates): Moorfields Eye Hospital Dubai - the first overseas branch of Moorfields Eye Hospital in London - and Manteq Computer Equipment Trading LLC, part of a group of companies operating in IT services, have signed an agreement under which Manteq will provide IT services to the hospital and specifically upgrade the insurance IT applications used by Moorfields for its growing base of insurance affiliates.
Manteq will provide Moorfields with an application called 'Insurance Coverage' which manages insurance company details and third party insurance administration companies. The application offers a centralised insurance database providing quick and efficient access to detailed information about the cover offered by the various insurance affiliates, in order to support patient services and increase efficiency, whilst eliminating the risk of rejection by insurers by cross-checking for any special terms. The application is built using the latest technology and incorporates a modern, user-friendly interface.
Mariano Gonzalez, Managing Director of Moorfields Eye Hospital Dubai, commented: "The number of insurance affiliations we now have means that this new IT service and the insurance application will be vital in ensuring we maintain our service levels for patients and for our insurance partners. Moorfields is pleased to have signed this agreement with Manteq which will help us enhance our efficiency in an important area of systems support that impacts the overall patient experience of Moorfields."
Manteq is a member in a group of companies working in the IT field; the company specialises in supplying software solutions and services and has a highly experienced team working in software development, systems integration, and healthcare solutions, serving a number of customers in the regional healthcare sector.
