Modhesh Fun City Main Stage to host numerous shows in the coming weeks, Stage shows free for all MFC visitors, Ice Skating training classes for all at East Hall during the weekend
Modhesh Fun City, the largest edutainment venue in the region, is hosting a variety of stage shows as part of the exciting entertainment scheduled during DSS 2008. Located at the Central Hall of the venue, the shows are among the much-awaited highlights of this summer.
The Powerpuff Girls Recycling Meltdown Show will have its opening at the Main Stage on Friday, June 27, at 7:30pm. A tremendous success in DSS 2007, the 2008 show, featuring the famous cartoon trio Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup, will focus on saving the environment. The second show on Friday will begin just after 10pm. The show continues on Saturday at 1:20pm and 7:30pm. Children to Modhesh Fun City can watch the Powerpuff Girls in action till July 17.
The Powerpuff Girls are not the only ones to entertain crowds at Modhesh Fun City this summer. The bubbly and energetic Modhesh is all set to add to the excitement at the venue in daily shows at the stage. Modhesh and his friends will greet the crowds and meet fans during their time at Modhesh Fun City. The Modhesh Shows will be organized in English and Arabic to cater to the diverse audience at Airport Expo Dubai.
The Main Stage will also host an international circus troupe from Russia. The interactive circus act is one among the latest inclusions in DSS 2008 to offer a varied range of events for visitors.
Shows at Modhesh Fun City have been designed to keep children and families entertained every single hour in the day. The Modhesh Fun Stage complements the Main Stage by staging an exclusive set of competitions and games for children.
Competitions at the stage include 'Snake and Ladders', and those organized by the Roads and Transport Authority where gifts are given to winners. The McDonald's Show and Spacetoon Games are also attractions at the stage in addition to magic shows on a regular basis.
Modhesh Fun City is open between 10am and 10pm from Saturday to Wednesday, from 10am to midnight on Thursday, and from 3pm to midnight on Fridays. Tickets to the facility are priced at AED 20 that also includes numerous free games and rides.
