27 June 2007
RIYADH, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Wednesday, June 27, 2007: Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) launched direct debit service for postpaid customers in cooperation with SABB, for the first time in the Kingdom, a statement issued by the company said.

According to the terms of the agreement, SABB will act as the collecting bank for all Mobily direct debit customers.

Direct debit is a convenient method of bill payment that requires a one-time setup and reduces the possibility of late or missed payments.

Mobily postpaid customers wishing to benefit from the new payment facility need only a bank account from any licensed Saudi bank and a visit to a Mobily showroom to sign the direct debit authorization forms.

The new payment facility brings to six the number of payment facilities available for Mobily postpaid customers, including cash at the counter, payment through ATM cards and cash through Mobily Auto machines and Mobily M-Pay terminals available at Mobily showrooms and dealers, as well as online credit card payment and at Mobily showrooms.
