Mitel, a market-leader for voice, video, and data convergence over broadband networks, has just completed a two-day seminar for its Channel in the Gulf Region, Pakistan and Mauritius, which was held in Dubai.
Around 25 people from the Channel attended the seminar which according to Hisham Amili, Mitel’s Regional Sales Director, was “one in a series of market activities underway to highlight product enhancement and review channel performance.”
“The seminar was presented by Mitel’s senior product, sales and marketing executives from the UK and focused on a product road map for the Mitel Networks 3300 Intergrated Communications Platform, the Mitel Networks 6100 Contact Center Solution, and options for sales and marketing support in the region,” explained Amili.
According to Saeid Javadi Nejad, Director of Sales, ViewNet Technologies FZ-LLC, “sales seminars strengthen the relationship between manufacturer and the distributor/channel. Current product line up and new product road maps help the Channel to work according to the big plans.”
“The seminar provided a good two days worth of information and the comments from the Channel should be investigated and studied carefully,” Nejad said.
Mathew G. Thomas from Unitech Bahrain said he found the sessions very fruitful. “I have gained detailed knowledge on the networking capabilities of the Mitel Networks 3300 ICP and possess greater understanding on how to position the product.”
Mr Thomas said the seminar gave him a useful insight into the new products and features which will be available shortly. “It was also an opportunity for me to interact with the Mitel marketing team and provide them with 'feed-back' from the Bahrain market… I do hope that such events happen on a regular basis.”
