Fujitsu Siemens Computers presents the AMILO Mini

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, September 17, 2008 - Fujitsu Siemens Computers recently unveiled the latest advance in miniature technology: the new AMILO Mini Ui 3520. This latest member of the Fujitsu Siemens Computers family to arrive in the Middle East is small and smart, greatly extending the IT infrastructure provider's consumer notebook family.

Entering the market at only 32.2 X 17.5 cm in size, the AMILO slips easily into any pocket and boasts an Intel® Atom™N270 processor making it a small powerhouse with a battery life of more than four hours to meet the rigorous requirements of the region's business professionals.. Its removable clip-on covers, available in five colours to suit any mood, mean that anyone can change its appearance whenever they feel the need. Creative consumers can even use the transparent cover to personalise the mini notebook with photos of family and friends.

"Continuing its commitment to providing superior mobility for regional consumers, Fujitsu Siemens Computers is proud of this latest miniature notebook that is perfectly suited to the mobile lifestyle of modern business professionals in the region," explained Tarek Al Kaissy
Manager, Consumer Products ME, Fujitsu Siemens Computers. "Not only does the size allow for easy travelling, but it accomplishes superior mobility without sacrificing other features like an integrated microphone and 1.3 megapixel webcam which mean that the office can travel with you wherever you need to go this fall."

The AMILO Mini's 8.9" non-glare display and its 1kg weight mean users can enjoy fresh air while chatting with friends or surfing the net - all made possible with integrated WLAN and UMTS support through an express card slot, 3G USB dongle support and Bluetooth® . Chats are livened up with the pre-installed software YouCam from Cyberlink that allows users to surprise the family with personalized greetings, or use the morphing tool to make friends laugh at funny pictures. Additional photos are easily transferred from a digital camera to the AMILO Mini using the 4-in-1 card reader or uploaded to Internet without any delay - or print them out and use them as a new cover!

The mini notebook comes with Microsoft® Windows® XP Home Edition and has a hard disk capacity of 60 or 80 GB with a 120GB option available in December. It can be purchased beginning October from specialist retailers, priced AED. 2399.
