New colour adds to original black and silver option
Dubai - The Middle East was the first to get the high-performance Maybach 57s in white with two customers receiving their cars earlier this year.
Now, the shining new Maybach in "Antiqua White" finish will make its world debut at the Paris Motor Show at the end of September and impressively emphasises the dynamic character of this high-end luxury saloon, whose outstanding performance potential particularly captures the enthusiasm of passionate owner-drivers.
"The 57S was originally offered in black and silver but, due to popular demand, we can now provide this exclusive vehicle in white to discerning Middle East customers wanting an ultra-luxury sedan with even greater performace and driveability than the traditional 57 and 62," said Chris Vallance, Regional Sales Manager, Maybach Manufactur.
The 57 S was launched at the Middle East International Show in Dubai last December and extends the Maybach 57 and 62 model range that is a favourite with discerning owners across the Middle East who seek a more subtle approach to ultra luxury vehicles.
The standard Maybach V12 engine, which the brand's engineers have enhanced in co-operation with Mercedes-AMG experts, gives the 57 S high luxury saloon breathtaking performance and makes it a true driver's car.
Thanks to biturbo technology and an air/water intercooler, the 5980 cc V12 engine develops a maximum output of 612 hp while an incredible maximum torque of 1000 newton metres is available from 2000 to 4000 rpm. Acceleration from standstill to 100 km/h takes just 5.0 seconds.
The white paint finish of the 57 S is applied in multiple layers by experienced specialists using a highly involved process. In contrast to conventional paint finishes using just one base paint to provide the colour tone, two different paints are necessary to achieve this mother-of-pearl-like sheen - one of these contains mica. The paint layers are mainly applied by hand, and several additional layers of clearcoat ensure a highly resistant finish.
"Antiqua White" is available to customers on request, as part of the more than two million Maybach individualisation options.-Ends-
