Dubai, United Arab Emirates – Microsoft today concluded the latest in the popular CXO Learning Circle series. The event, called “Create Business Value with your Data and AI Dividend” covered a range of issues facing the region’s digital businesses as they try to deliver value and compete in the new global economy.
“Data and AI is at the core of every digital transformation. Innovation, cost savings and operational efficiency are just some of the dividends that you can receive from your data,” said Jens Hansen, General Manager EMEA, Data and AI, at Microsoft. “ Our approach to setting data and analytics priorities is called ROAR, which stands for risk-opportunity-appetite-return. This will enable organisations to create a business strategy infused with modern data analytics thinking.”
Hansen delivered a keynote address at the event. And Mike Rollings, Distinguished VP Analyst with Gartner's Chief Data Officer Research team gave talk titled "The Foundation of a Modern Data and Analytics Strategy". The summit also featured a special “AI Business School” session delivered by Peter Zemsky, Dean of Strategic Initiatives and Innovation at the renowned INSEAD business school. His seminar was designed to empower organisations to drive success through the design and implementation of artificial intelligence. The session covered the business case for AI, and how enterprises can embrace it responsibly.
The CXO Learning Circle is an online series of summits dedicated to driving ambition in the increasingly conjoined fields of data and AI. The Learning Circle supports organisations in their journeys to become data-driven enterprises and construct new realities that build differentiating advantages for their customers. Speakers at the summit are recognised leaders in the fields of data and AI. They shared insights from two recent papers co-authored by Microsoft and Gartner.
