Customers and partners attend two-day workshop to demonstrate the enhanced IT management solutions on offer from Microsoft

Riyadh - Microsoft Arabia is helping enterprise customers in the Kingdom to reduce the cost and time spent managing their IT infrastructure, with the Microsoft Management Solution Workshop, being held on November 27, 28 with the help of BDL, the Saudi Hardware Manufacturer. The workshop demonstrates to customers how they can have more control over their infrastructure and make management easier and quicker through use of Microsoft solutions such as Windows Server 2003, Virtual Server 2005, Microsoft Operations Manager 2005 and System Management Server 2003.

The Microsoft Management Solution Workshop is a part of the Dynamic System Initiative, a program from Microsoft to deliver self-managing dynamic systems to help IT professionals to design more manageable systems and automate their operations more effectively, resulting in reduced costs and more time to focus on what is most important to the organization. Microsoft is investing heavily in software research and development and working with partners to deliver end-to-end offerings integrated across application development tools, operating systems, applications, hardware, virtualization technologies, and management tools that will result in increased productivity and reduced costs, reduced time and effort to troubleshoot and maintain systems, improved systems compliance with business and IT policies, and increased responsiveness to changing business demands.

More than 50 top enterprise accounts had the opportunity to master the management solution applications realizing the value through Hands on Lab facilitated by "Future Power" PCs provided by the Saudi BDL company, which demonstrates Microsoft commitment towards their local partners in Saudi.
