Mena Telecom, an investment subsidiary of Kuwait Finance House (Bahrain) announced that customer service retails are fully prepared for the upcoming nation-wide launch of its WiMAX service.

Mr. Abdul Razak Jawahery, Executive Manager Kuwait Finance House - Bahrain (KFH), representing KFH as Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Mena Telecom in addition to executives from Mena Telecom and Motorola visited customer service retails in order to observe the progress of branch readiness prior to the launch.

Mr. Jawahery said, "All of the branches are fully stocked with the latest WiMAX technology components for our customers, and our customer service agents are fully qualified to handle a demand of any size once we launch"

Mr. Jawahery continued, "We are making sure to provide our customers with nothing but the best in terms of speed and quality. To support this goal we have strived to provide our sales agents with the highest level of training possible. We have also equipped our branches with devices that customers can plug and play to experience high-speed broadband stability prior to buying."

In preparation for the WiMAX roll-out, Mena Telecom's customer service agents have been training for months with teams from Motorola in order to make sure customers have the best experience possible. Agents are qualified to assist customers with everything from troubleshooting connection issues, to changing user packages according to customers' needs.

Mena Telecom currently has four active branches; GOSI - Exhibition Avenue, Bahrain Financial Harbor, KFH Automall - Sitra, Country Mall - Budaiya. The Bahrain World Trade Centre will be opening soon with more branches planned for the future.

"We are about to launch the first 802.16e WiMAX service in the Middle East," added Mr. Jawahery, "while using some of the most sophisticated equipment available in the telecom industry. Bahrain's telecom market will soon be experiencing a revolution that will change the way people use the internet forever. Mena Telecom will be at the heart of it all."

Mena Telecom call centers have recently been flooded with calls about the new WiMAX service after it was announced that the network is in the final pre-launch stages.
