Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 18th March 2012: Building on the success of the UAE's first ever initiative to open account and issue chip-enabled debit cards in just 30 minutes, Mashreq announced the extension of its instant banking service to 15 branches.
Customers can now get the instant personalized debit cards offering full spectrum and global standard security, which will enable to experience advanced banking solutions fulfilling their financial requirements instantly.
Shaker Zainal, Head of Distribution, Mashreq said, "This service was launched with one sole goal, which is to offer a groundbreaking never done before banking solution in the UAE. We are proud of the success this initiative has received so far. It's a true reflection of our genuine efforts to continue offering superior banking services to customers. It's significant to mention that immense preparations and investment has been made to ensure the roll-out to other branches to make this available to customers across the UAE."
The service which was launched in October 2011 comes in line with the bank's strategy to continue offering superior banking solutions to its customers. With just two branches in its first few months Dubai Internet City and Murraqabat, the initiative was well received where customers praised Mashreq's efforts.
Mashreq's 30 minutes instant banking service is now available in Dubai Internet City branch, Murraqabat branch, Riqqa branch, Al Khaleej branch, Entrepreneurs Business Village branch, Jumeirah Branch, Burjuman branch, Mall of Emirates Branch, Dubai Mall branch, Ajman branch, Al Ain branch, Al Salaam branch, Abu Dhabi Khalifa street branch, Zayed 2 branch, Al Khalidiya branch and Muroor branch, Sharjah bank street branch.
