Dubai, 28 June 2011 - Jean-François Legaret, Mayor of Paris' first arrondissement joined senior executives from Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group and Societe Fonciere Lyonnaise today to officiate at the opening of Mandarin Oriental, Paris
During the ceremony, Philippe Leboeuf, General Manager of Mandarin Oriental, Paris stated: "I am very proud to be at the helm of this wonderful ship, and to carry the values of Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. The hotel's 138 luxurious rooms
The architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte supervised the renovation of the building, facade and patio. Sybille de Margerie imagined the interior design and decoration of the rooms, spa and public spaces, while Patrick Jouin and Sanjit Manku lent their talent to the bar and restaurants. The hotel's indoor garden of oriental inspiration was created by Wilmotte & Associés, in association with the landscape artists François Neveux and Bernard Rouyer.
