As one of the highlights of the Dubai Marine Beach Resort complex, the popular Latin American hotspot, Malecon, will be returning to the Dubai scene and reopening its doors this October, bringing back its energetic atmosphere that had everyone around town going loco for. Everything from the new contemporary look, menu and up-beat entertainment will make it, once again, the ultimate destination for both residents and visitors to the city.
Named after Havana’s famous seafront stretch, Malecon earned its place as one of Dubai’s best nightlife spots, and their doors have been swinging since 1999. The dance floor – a mere break step away from the dining area – builds its electric atmosphere from dinner service through to the early evening. With live music and entertainment, Malecon will be relaunching with their reputable themed nights, offering salsa, cigars and the best cocktails in the city – taking your evening to a new level.
Best known for its detailed approach to traditional flavours, each dish at Malecon will be a representation of authenticity and heritage from different Latin American countries. Peruvian to Mexican, Malecon is the place to be for a fully immersive experience reflected through their highly trained culinary team that can educate diners on speciality dishes, their origins and the carefully selected ingredients from around the world. Developed by Chef David Durand the new menu offers over 35 dishes, to include Chef signatures, such as Ceviche Mixto Peruano, Paella Malecon and Arroz Con Pollo
“We have chosen to do everything as authentically as possible - from the ingredients in each dish, to where we sourced our interiors, through to the music and live bands” explains, Business Development Manager, Pascal Moser. “We’ve completely revamped the venue and we’re looking forward to welcoming back our old regulars and those that don’t yet know us.”
