Magic Island hosts Screening of The Little Mermaid
SEEF Mall is the venue for Magic Island's seventh mega event that brings the beach to you this Wednesday August 9th. As part of their exciting annual program, Bahrain's most popular family entertainment centre has announced that the forth theme of the year is a Hawaiian beach party. Starting at 4pm, children will be entertained with a great medley of 'pirate' music, characters from popular cartoons, a face painter and a magic show.
The fun afternoon will also feature an animated movie, The Little Mermaid. Loosely based on the story by Hans Christian Andersen, Ariel, the youngest daughter of King Triton, is dissatisfied with life in the sea. She longs to be with the humans above the surface, and is often caught in arguments with her father over those "barbaric fish-eaters". She goes to meet Ursula, the Sea Witch, to strike a deal, but Ursula has bigger plans for this mermaid and her father.
