Mario Scotto has been appointed as the new General Manager of Mafraq Hotel, Abu Dhabi. Mario joined Mafraq in October 2012 overseeing the operational side of the hotel. Mario's 36 years of experience in the hospitality industry in Europe and the Middle East and his specialization in start-up hotel projects are an asset to the recently re-launched property.
Prior to joining Mafraq, Mr. Scotto held the position of Group General Manager at the Safeer Hotel Group in Oman, Muscat, City Seasons Hotel Group and Flora Hotel Group in Dubai.
"I'm very excited to be joining Mafraq as the new General Manager and look forward to working with the hotel team to build on Mafraq's success in the industry. This is a very exciting time for the property and I'm delighted to be onboard," says Mario Scotto.
