DUBAI- Here to celebrate Chevrolet's Centennial at the Dubai International Motor Show with a special appearance will be Louis Chevrolet himself, thanks to the region's first-of-its kind augmented reality. In Dubai from the 10th until 14th of November, at the Chevrolet stand - SSA58, Louis Chevrolet will meet and greet the visitors so don't miss this once in a lifetime opportunity to ride with an automotive legend! Make sure you come down and say hello.

Chevrolet was founded in Detroit, in November 1911, by racer Louis Chevrolet and General Motors founder William C. "Billy" Durant, who developed cars that quickly earned reputations for performance, durability and value. Those traits remain at the core of Chevrolet, which is the world's fourth-largest automotive brand. The first Chevrolet production vehicle was the Series C Classic Six, a large, finely crafted motorcar with a large 4.9L, six-cylinder engine producing 40 horsepower and capable of top speeds of about 105km per hour.

A great deal of myth and legend surround Louis Chevrolet (1878 - 1941), who was born in Switzerland and later emigrated across the Atlantic to the United States of America. What is well documented about his life, however, is his passion for race car driving and automobile design, the spirit of which is still very much alive today.
