Wednesday June 4, Bahrain -- Family and friends of Olympic athlete Ruqaya Al Ghasra along with members of the Sports Union gathered at the Lost Paradise of Dilmun for a lunch marking the beginning of Ruqaya's rigorous upcoming race.

As Ruqaya prepares for one of the most extensive challenges ever faced, the Lost Paradise of Dilmun Water Park is extending its support and wishing good luck to one of the most decorated individuals in the region before she travels to China to participate in the 2008 Olympics.

"We are proud to express our support to Ruqaya and all that she stands for. She is a symbol celebrated and appreciated by the entire region and we are delighted to host this lunch to mark her send off," commented General Manager of Lost Paradise of Dilmun Water Park, Paul Blunt.

As a bon voyage gift, the Lost Paradise of Dilmun Water Park gave a special memento to accompany Ruqaya throughout her trip throughout her trip as well as organising and catering for a lunch at the Park.
