USAN Gabon is pleased to inform its future customers of the success of its first technical call within its GSM-GPRS mobile network in Gabon.

USAN Gabon had been granted the fourth mobile telephony operator license by the Telecom Authority of the Republic of Gabon on July 30, 2008. Following the acquisition of this license, USAN Gabon began deploying a GSM-GPRS mobile network based on the latest technologies, and has now completed the deployment of its coverage for Libreville. USAN Gabon is currently deploying its network in Port Gentil, Franceville, Lambarene, Moanda, Oyem and Mouilla.

USAN Gabon has deployed a new technical centre of the highest standards with international satellite links, an advanced technology commuter and radio sites with the assistance of its Gabon and international partners.

As it celebrates the success of the first technical call on its network, USAN Gabon would like to thank its 60 employees as well as its suppliers, who together employ about 300 nationals. USAN Gabon is proud to benefit from local expertise in various domains, especially in the deployment of its radio sites, IT, communication, telecommunications, and in the establishment of its technical centre.

Gabon is one of the most developed markets in the mobile telecommunication sector in Africa, and USAN Gabon considers its entry into the local market as a great opportunity to provide a high-quality and cost-effective proposition to discerning customers in the country.

In a few weeks, USAN Gabon will announce the commercial opening of its network that will be marketed under the Azur brand. Our objective is to convince you to use our services where you will be able to experience the quality and cost benefits of our offerings.

USAN Gabon is a subsidiary of the BINTEL Group, a provider of telecommunication services across the Middle East and Africa with GSM operations in the Central African Republic and Somaliland.
