Partnership will Elevate Home Theatre Experience with
Products Delivering Enhanced Sound Quality
Amman, Jordan - Global and regional digital leader LG Electronics and celebrated hi-fi innovator Mark Levinson announced their collaboration to develop products that deliver enhanced sound quality and a differentiated, stylish design.
After successfully launching the music-oriented LG Cyon mobile handset globally last year, the audio legend will now partner with LGE to develop and personally tune selected premium home theatre systems. For the Cyon handset, Levinson helped create a number of pre-set equaliser options, such as jazz and pop, with better effect than usual.
"LG Electronics is developing products that push out the boundaries of the home entertainment experience and expand networking and connectivity in the information technology arena. We have attracted the attention of people who are prominent leaders in their industries and professions around the world.
Our partnership with Mark Levinson, we believe, will support our goal of becoming a - top player in the global audio and mobile phone market," said Mr. Kevin Cha - General Manager of LG Electronics Amman Branch.
The partnership will see the launch of two new LGE systems, AP3133 and LHT888, both delivering dynamic sound quality and superior design. The high-definition AP3133 AV home theatre system features multi-driver floor-standing loudspeakers, centre channel speaker, surrounds, and powerful subwoofer.
The system includes a 7.1-channel AV receiver with 150 Watts RMS X 7 "ICEpower" output stage, Burr-Brown PCM 1796 24bit/192kHz DAC, multi-input HDMI switching with near 1080p up scaling, 1080p pass through, HD Radio capability, and Audessey Auto Room Multi EQ Adjustment. The system is built around LG's award-winning "Super Blu" dual-format player.
For décor-conscious movie-and-music fans, LG is unveiling its LHT888 home theatre system, a foray into stunning contemporary design. Inspired by the slim elegant form of the champagne glass, LHT888's loudspeakers feature multiple drivers in parabolic housings, each with a tapered integrated pedestal.
The system includes a 700W 5.1-channel DVD receiver with near 1080p up-scaling, built-in wireless kit, USB Media Plus, HDMI output, LG SimpLink™ multi-device control (HDMI-CEC) and multi-format playback compatibility.
