The result - the HT953TV, also called Scarlet Home Theatre - is a blend of specialised functionality and engaging designs that easily integrate into homes and lifestyles.
This LG flagship Home Theatre System for 2008 delivers upgraded sound quality specially tuned by the sound master Mr. Mark Levinson to focus on the finest sound quality and tone, winning acclamation for creating "sound of music with a feel of the instrument being played in the same room".
To maximise sound quality, its loudspeakers feature multiple drivers in parabolic housings, each with a tapered integrated pedestal. This improved sound quality, along with LG's exclusive VSM(Virtual Sound Matrix) Pro technology, allows consumers to enjoy the ultimate surround sound experience when watching movies, TV or listening to music. With VSM Pro technology, HT953TV uses five virtual speakers to produce a 10.1 channel sound effect and enhances the sound quality without any distortion or exaggeration of the original sound.

The Scarlet home theatre system especially boosts its soft curved speaker and emotional touch panel control that combines a sleek piano-black, high-gloss design with touchpad navigation. For viewer's convenience, the product has Simplink which allows users to perform automatic AV input search on a flat screen. When a flat panel TV, an audio system and a DVD system are connected in the HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) mode, all of these can be controlled with a single remote, which further defines the ease of use for the user and HDMI can act as a replacement for up to 15 types of current analogue connections and upscale the 576i SD signal to 1080P HD signal.
On the other hand, it also offers music lovers easy connectivity and flexibility. This home theatre system incorporates a USB connection, allowing playback and recording for all portable music players. The system employs iPod connection by stand and USB direct ripping, USB plus and portable audio, a USB host port that allows connections to MP3 players and USB memory stick allows users to enjoy music saved on their mobile devices.
