Multi-V Air Conditioner and HomNet recognized at Qatar Today Green Awards 2009
Dubai, UAE, 10th November , 2009 - LG Electronics (LG), a global leader and technology innovator in consumer electronics and appliances has taken two awards at the Qatar Today Green Awards (QTGA) 2009 for its eco-friendly products. The awards were for the LG Multi - V Air Conditioner in the Green Product category and for LG HomNet in the Green Innovation category.
The QTGA awards seek to recognize a broad spectrum of environmental activism, from grassroots to national level, from single endeavours to activities that demonstrate and highlight long-term environmental visions and polices. Initiatives include, recycling of used equipment, upgrading the education curriculum to environmental studies and process related eco-endeavours, such as carbon neutral constructions.
