Sells 10 Million Units Again

LG Electronics, one of the world top air conditioner makers, has achieved a global sales volume 10 million units for the second year in a row and the No. 1 position for the sixth consecutive year. 

Fuji-Keizai, a well know market research company in Japan, announced that in 2005 LGE accounted for about 17.4% share of the world air conditioner market which is good for number one position again

Furthermore, LGE's sales revenue increased sharply with a two-digit growth rate over the last year.

LGE has made this outstanding achievement notwithstanding the pressure of high oil prices, increasing raw material prices, a cool summer in Europe and North America and tough several competitions from rapidly growing Chinese manufacturers and high-tech oriented Japanese manufacturers.

Mr. C K Cho - General Manager of LG Electronics in  KSA, said  that LG air conditioners have also achieved No.1 position in the Kingdom again in 2005 "this is for the most part due to the great spirit of partnership that joins us with our agent in the kingdom H.G. Mr. Cho also attributes LG's local success to the efficient use of overseas production bases, region-specific marketing strategies, the development of class-leading core technologies, and ownership of core parts business, he added, : LG air conditioners score highly in Saudi Arabia market thanks to there simple installation, quit operation and low energy consumption, the brand survey of LG Air Conditioners reports to top of mind, 25% unaided, 71.4%,  aided 95.1% in KSA, which is enough to retain No, 1 position.
