A Comprehensive Conference and Exhibition Providing the Latest Technologies and Solutions to Enhance Learning Capabilities in the MENA Region

Dubai-UAE: 20 July, 2011 - The second annual BETT Middle East will be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) in Abu Dhabi from 25-26 October, 2011. The event will welcome a variety of distinguished speakers and exhibitors to discuss and showcase the latest technological enhancements improving productivity and efficiency in a learning environment.

Endorsed by the Abu Dhabi Educational Council (ADEC), BETT Middle East 2011 is organized by Emap Connect, and co-located with Building Future Education (BFE) MENA. The event will provide industry leaders and professionals with powerful and abundant learning opportunities.

The first edition of BETT Middle East showcased the latest technological advances in education to over 2,200 educators from across the MENA region. Visitors and speakers consisted of senior policy makers, influencers and educational leaders, as well as trade and channel buyers including resellers and distributors from the UAE, GCC and wider Middle East regions, all of who contributed to the event's outstanding success.

The Middle East region has over 92,500 public educational institutions and more than 50 million students with an education budget of US$55 billion. The Higher Education ICT Forum @ BETT Middle East will be a gathering point for senior IT professionals working in the region's key universities and colleges. Delegates will explore how institutions can use ICT to adapt to changing teaching and research requirement, control costs, improve efficiency and sharpen competitive advantage in the higher education market place.
