Professor Sa'ad Medhat is an accomplished entrepreneur and innovator in technology and business. He is also chief Executive of the New Engineering Foundation, a UK charitable trust that promotes modern science, engineering and technology education in further and higher education. He also played a pioneering role with both the UK government and the European Commission in the introduction of Technology and Knowledge Transfer and innovation programmes to improve companies' productivity and competitiveness.
Professor Medhat has published more than 60 papers and books worldwide and holds a number of invention patents. His book 'Concurrent Engineering - the Agenda for Success' is published by Wiley and Sons and is the standard text used by companies and universities throughout the world.
