The project of refreshing the property has been given to Madrid-based project managers Euroamykasa. For several months they studied the ways in which the hotel could be enhanced, prioritising guest comfort and focusing on understated elegance.

The Lobby, Cocktail Lounge and adjacent Mosaic Brasserie will all be connected to a central, external terrace for alfresco dining and outdoor entertainment.  For most of the year, Morocco's good weather draws guests to the poolside Poseidon restaurant, and now, the outdoor terrace will provide another area to enjoy the sunshine.

Simultaneously, the spacious Royal Villa, set back from the hotel, will undergo an extensive makeover to take advantage of its unparalleled location overlooking the ocean.  The staff will receive specialist training to offer guests the highest level of service.  Services such as Concierge and Guest Relations will be expanded to address the wider demographics of visitors, offering day or overnight trips from nearby cities including Marrakech, Fes, Rabat and Casablanca.
