Very affordable high Mega Pixel, Large LCD pocket cameras

Dubai, 10, October'07- Kodak, the world leader in digital photography announced the latest additions to the award winning line of digital cameras, Kodak EasyShare V1253 and M883 with wide LCDs and HDTV compatible for great image and video display. Abundant in features but still pocket sized and affordable, these new cameras are set to occupy center stage in the Middle East.

Stylish and Slim V1253 and M883

Slim, stylish and all metal body, these two cameras are also highly functional and loaded with features.  The V1253 and M883 boasts of a 3Xoptical zoom lens to get closer to the subject without reducing the image quality and an additional 5X digital zoom to enlarge images further. When combined with high ISO up to 1320, it captures details with high shutter speed even in low light conditions.

The V1253 camera will retail for Aed 1,349 and is equipped with 12-mega-pixel resolution and M883 will retail for only Aed 999/- and has an 8-mega-pixel resolution, both for stunning prints up to 30x40 inch. Both these new models have a 3-inch wide LCD that displays images brilliantly and are HD enabled that allows viewing images in high definition on an HDTV or other HD devices. KODAK Color Science Chip allows capturing bright and beautiful colors. Additional features like digital image stabilization that reduces blur caused by camera shake or subject movement and face detection technology that detects up to 10 faces and automatically adjusts camera settings proves Kodak's sense of creativity and appetite for innovation.
