Kuwait.1may/2014: Kuwait Finance House (KFH) took part for the fifth consecutive yea, in the diabetes awareness day that was held at Souk Salmiya and was organized by the Amiri Hospital. This comes as part of KFH's efforts to raise awareness concerning that disease, and serves to cement KFH attempts in the field of social responsibility and health. Such efforts play a prominent role in boosting the economy and development.
The event was launched at Souk Salmiya, and targeted all segments of the public. Diabetic people received tips regarding treatment and regular checkups. Other people were told how to avoid diabetes, and were encouraged see doctors if any symptoms appear. The public applauded KFH for its efforts in raising awareness regarding diabetes, and also lauded the efforts exerted in the past by Dasman Center, not to mention the diabetes application on smartphones. Such efforts highlight the strong relationship between the private sector and the society. The public praised KFH's positive role in serving its society through cooperating with health authorities.
