GUST's Islamic Finance Club organized a trip to Malaysia under the auspices of Kuwait Finance House (KFH) to visit most important Islamic financial institutions in Malaysia, such as banks, insurance companies, and universities specialized in Islamic finance.
The trip aims to allow the students to closely observe Islamic finance in a country that develops year after year in this field of business. The students visited KFH-Malaysia, KFH Research, Islamic Finance Services Board, INCEIF, IIUM, and Kuwaiti embassy in Malaysia, where they met Ambassador Monther Al-Eissa.
The participants applauded KFH's support and thanked it for granting them this opportunity that will enrich their knowledge about Islamic banking; especially that Malaysia has a council for setting Islamic financing standards that are followed worldwide.
