"Kenwood" sponsors "Top Chef" contest
Jeddah 29th May, 2011 - "Kenwood", the world's leading manufacturer of domestic appliances, sponsors the second edition of "Best Chef" contest, organized by Saudi Arabian Chef Association (SACA) alongside Food & Hotel Arabia show, which will be held at Jeddah Center for Forums & Events on May 29th, 2011.
This year, "Kenwood" has been selected, out of many domestic appliances manufacturers, to sponsor this distinctive contest. "Kenwood" was selected in view of its high quality and functionality products, as well as it capability to work under harshest working conditions, and in view of its global reputation. Chefs of international hotels and famous restaurants are very keen to use "Kenwood" products due to its proved durability and flexibly.
On this occasion, Fadi Tarabay, "Kenwood" Marketing Manager, said: "We are very keen to participate in this contest this year in view of its importance not to Saudi Arabia only but also to the GCC region, in addition to its significant role in creating wide awareness of food industry among the Saudi youths. He added: "This year more than 30 world's famous chefs, including 5 chefs from World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS), will compete in this contest, which reflects its great importance and credibility. A special jury, composed of experts in the art of cooking, will be judging the contest and mark the dishes daily, and at the end of the event, names of the first three places winners will be announced and honorary awards presented to the winners.

Top Chef Arabia and Art de Table are main events of Food & Hotel Arabia show, and last year enjoyed a great number of visitors who savored many delicious dishes.
