An Even Better Guest Experience On the Horizon
Ajman, 09 May 2006 - Kempinski Hotel Ajman today announced the details of scheduled renovations for the resort located 25 kilometres north of Dubai. The three month refurbishment for 94 of the luxury hotel's 185 elegant sea view rooms will begin on 20 May 2006.
The hotel's renowned grand lobby will also be enhanced by mid 2007 to make it an even more spectacular showpiece, giving way to more light and airy atmosphere that has made the hotel a truly relaxing and breath-taking holiday getaway.
Throughout the redecoration undertaken by architectural consultants LW Design / AMBB Contractors who have worked on such signature projects as the Grosvenor House Dubai, Shangri-La hotels Dubai and the new Radisson SAS Hotel, the emphasis will be on enhancing the exquisite Middle Eastern charm of the hotel, and the timeless elegance and luxury that have always been associated with kempinski. The new rooms whilst soaked in the richness of dark woods and plush fabrics, have a real freshness that flows through them. Cream walls and light lines contrast with the opulent bed spreads and authentic art and ornaments create a true fusion of modernity and traditional middle eastern styles.
With this elegant and beautifully designed renovation the Kempinski Hotel Ajman will take it's place within the collection of Kempinski's luxurious hotels in the UAE, that include the opulant landmark Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi and the unique Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates in Dubai. A tranquil & refreshing sea side refuge set upon pristine sandy beaches the Kempinski Hotel Ajman is a perfect compliment to it's two metropolitan sister hotels.
"Renovation is part of our continuing pursuit of perfection," said Ulrich Eckhardt, Senior Vice President Middle East & Africa. "We have invested substantial resources to make sure that every aspect of the renovation reflects the tradition of luxury and elegance that the hotel has become renowned for. We have also taken great care to guarantee that the work will have minimal effect on the guest experience and all the food and beverage operations will remain open throughout the revamp period. Once completed, we are confident that the Kempinski Hotel Ajman will even be a more spectacular holiday retreat for local and International Guests," Added Mr. Eckhardt.
During the three month restoration work a number of floors of the hotel will be excluded, which will then be addressed by mid 2007.
Regular patrons of Kempinski Hotel Ajman guests will still be able to enjoy their favorite dishes as the restaurants and cafs will remain open during the restoration period; as well as The Laguna Beach Club, which includes a modern fitness gym with a health club, an aerobic studio as well as a new kids club. A range of sports facilities such as bowling, water sports and diving will all remain operational.
