UAE emerges as key guest contributor for Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts
Jumeirah event focused on enhancing engagement with Travel Trade Partners in UAE and the region
New Middle East and international hospitality properties to be showcased
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 19 April 2012:
Jumeirah, the Dubai-based luxury hospitality company and a member of Dubai Holding, is sending a delegation on a GCC roadshow to engage directly with regional travel trade partners, share with them exclusive insights into Jumeirah Group's upcoming summer promotions and introduce new and soon-to-be-launched properties across the Arab world and internationally.
The 2012 edition of Jumeirah's roadshow has been sponsored by Emirates Airlines and will encompass the UAE, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar over a period of five days starting from April 22nd, 2012.
Jumeirah Group will host the UAE edition of the GCC roadshow on April 26th at Burj Al Arab Hotel. The theme of the 2012 GCC Roadshow is to bring Jumeirah's "Stay Different" philosophy to life and showcase Jumeirah's three brand pillars - Culturally connected, Thoughtful and Generous and Imaginative and Exhilarating. The main part of the event will be a dinner function, hosted by Wonho Chung, a popular Korean comedian and singer. The in-demand entertainer delivers his material in fluent Arabic, allowing him a special connection to audiences across the Middle East.
During the course of the roadshow, Jumeirah will meet its regional travel and trade partners to showcase some of the hospitality company's new hotels and resorts in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Rome, Frankfurt and Istanbul, as well as a new serviced residence in London. Besides these, industry partners will also get the opportunity to gain insights about Jumeirah's two resorts in the Maldives.
Commenting on the beginning of the 2012 GCC roadshow, Thomas Grundner, Vice President - Global Sales, Jumeirah Group said, "The GCC market is very important for Jumeirah as a global hospitality management company and a Dubai-based luxury hotel group, as guests from the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait are part of the top 10 countries of origin for Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts in Dubai. Jumeirah also witnessed significant growth in the number of guests from these countries in 2011, which was a year of tremendous growth for us as we opened six new hotels over three continents including Jumeirah Zabeel Saray in Dubai. Jumeirah Creekside in Dubai will also open in the near future".
