Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR), one of UAE’s prominent beachside community development projects, has unveiled its activities during the Dubai Summer Surprises 2004. JBR is one of the key sponsors of the 10-week extravaganza, which will be held from June 17 to August 27, 2004.

Hashim Al Dabal, CEO of Jumeirah Beach Residence, said: “We are proud to be associated with DSS as a key sponsor for the second consecutive year, because of its focus on children and families. Since Jumeirah Beach Residence is also in the business of developing communities, we closely identify with the activities organised during the 10 weeks of excitement.”

He added: “As part of our activities, we plan to set up sales kiosks at major shopping malls across the Emirate. We are also working closely with the Dubai Shopping Malls Group (DSMG) to unveil a major initiative during DSS.”

Mr. Al Dabal said that during DSS 2004, the JBR plans to air TV commercials on Dubai TV, coupled with an aggressive outdoor advertising strategy in various parts of Dubai. “The Jumeirah Beach Residence development is being designed to be a community like no other with various services, leisure facilities and recreational elements that families can jointly engage in. Considering the focus of DSS being fun for children and families, it is a natural fit for Jumeirah Beach Residence to be associated with the event. DSS is one of the best avenues where people of all races, cultures and lifestyles come together to enjoy and interact. We are delighted to be a part of it as a key sponsor,” said Mr. Al Dabal.

During DSS 2003, Jumeirah Beach Residence was able to achieve its objective of creating high awareness about the project development amongst the GCC nationals and other visitors to Dubai. “The visitors from GCC countries and other destinations during DSS 2003 evinced a lot of interest in the projects and have visited our sales offices too, which helped in promoting the project beyond UAE. Similarly, we hope that during DSS 2004, we will achieve the set objectives to further enhance our profile,” he added.
