MAF Fashion, one of the fastest growing retail groups in the region and part of Majid Al Futtaim Group, one of the region's most prominent property developers, will launch a Juicy Couture stand alone store in Dubai this month (May). The Juicy Couture store, the first of its kind in the Middle East, is located in the Boulevard at Jumeirah Emirates Towers, a luxury shopping destination in the heart of the business district.
The Dubai store houses a wide range of the very latest Juicy Couture collections. These include: Juicy Couture (women's' wear), Juicy men and a full range of Juicy accessories - fabulous handbags, jewellery, swimwear, sunglasses and shoes. And, of course, fun items for pets too!
Founded in 1997 by Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Taylor, as premium designer, marketer and wholesalers of sexy, sophisticated basics for women, Juicy Couture is recognized around the world as a leading contemporary brand of casual lifestyle clothing.
The store design concept showcases the brand's creative identity and its position within the fashion world - think modern fairytale...girl meets rock star and they move into an old English manor house to become "Juicy Royalty." With a mix of old stripped down French antiques, lush colors, hardwood floors and modern showpieces such as glass,
mirrors and mirror-finish metals, as well as tall glass jars filled to the brim with candies and treats, the store has a fun, yet rich luxurious appeal. The perfect balance of old English charm yet with a sense of humor.
With a footprint of 1,700 square feet, the store has been planned as a single informal space with most of the merchandise located on the walls. The centerpiece of the store is a long glass table inspired by the archetypal girl's dressing table - a home for makeup, clothing, media, candy, jewelry, etc. The table's glass top has been treated as a canvas for Juicy graphics and its transparency allows for a selection of Juicy accessories.
This is the brand's first store in the Middle East; other worldwide locations include New York, Las Vegas, Dallas, Atlanta, Honolulu, San Francisco, Boston, Hong Kong, Milan and Korea, including flagships in San Francisco, New York City, Tokyo, Malibu, and Rodeo Drive.

About Juicy Couture
Founded in 1997 by Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Taylor, as premium designer, marketer and wholesaler of sexy, sophisticated basics for women, Juicy Couture is recognized around the world as a leading contemporary brand of casual lifestyle clothing. The flattering, slender fit of the products, the price points, the exclusive distribution and the loyal celebrity following have all played an important role in shaping the brand. In 2003, Juicy was acquired by Liz Claiborne Inc., creating a unique and exciting partnership. Later that year Juicy launched menswear and children's apparel. In 2004, Juicy Couture Accessories and Juicy Beach Swimwear launched and Juicy opened its first retail store in Las Vegas. In 2005, both shoes and sunglasses were launched with watches and fragrance following in 2006. The company is currently opening boutiques worldwide and will have 40 shops by late 2007 including flagship locations in New York, San Francisco, Milan and Tokyo.
MAF Fashion represents a natural progression in the development of the Majid Al Futtaim Group. With significant infrastructure already in place, MAF Fashion is building a successful fashion business by acquiring rights for prominent brands and developing their presence in the Middle East, Levant, and North Africa.
Early in 2006 the first fashion group to benefit from this venture was the internationally renowned women's wear designer Liz Claiborne with her various brands: Mexx, XX by Mexx, Lucky Brand Jeans, Juicy Couture and Monet.
MAF Fashion owns and manages 80 free-standing stores including a number of department store concessions trading under the Liz Claiborne brand names of which Mexx is currently the most prominent.
Towards the end of 2006, MAF Fashion concluded a deal with one of the UK's fastest growing leisure wear retailers, Fat Face. Fat Face's philosophy is 'Life is out there' and MAF Fashion successfully opened the first store in November in Mall of the Emirates. Further Fat Face openings are scheduled for 2007.
