12/5/2010 Amman - Jordan Computer Society JCS has elected the new administrative authority for the 14th cycle during its annual meeting that took place in the JCS headquarters, last Thursday.
After its first session, the elected authority led by Azzam Shwaihat distributed the managerial positions on Mr. Othman Bazyan, Edrees Taani, Hussein Sisan, Manal Malbas, Salah Muhsen, and Safwan Kakeesh.
Shwaihat placed a great value on the previous authority's efforts and success which led by the vision of Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, JCS Honorary President.Shwaihat said: "We'll excrete our best efforts to uphold JCS's presence locally and regionally, while pushing forth its comprehensive role with the Ministry of ICT, INT@J, and several sectors, especially the Academic" praising the current elected body's competency, expertise, and their ability to drive the sector forth.
Jordan Computers Society is professional, non-profit society representing both individuals and companies specialized in computer and information technology. It is the first such an organization in the Middle East and the Arab region to specialize in the field.
JCS seeks to develop the ICT sector in Jordan and serve and support companies operating in the field through upgrading the operation techniques at the concerned companies and the efficiency of employees hired by the industry.
