Japan participate in Arab Health Dubai 2017

Seeking to maintain its leading position in the healthcare technology industry, Japan is promoting its top companies and manufacturers which have been working for years to innovate and develop high-end devices and products.

In recent years Japanese companies have launched a number of new distribution strategies for their technologies outside Japan in order to share the knowledge and develop public health across all sectors. Among these companies are Hakuzo Medical, Feather Safety Razor, Dr. Japan, Daiichi Medical, Chest M.I., Ito, Mitsubishi Rayon Cleansui, Yamada Shadowless and Kaji Corporation.

The Japanese government also deployed its efforts to help develop healthcare technology as part of its newly adopted development strategy which supports the economic growth of Japanese healthcare companies.

The government of Prime Minister Abe Shinzo issued in 2013 the government's national policy called "Japan is Back". In this policy it is settled, Japan’s goals to expand its medical technologies around the globe including in the Middle East by 2020 with the aim to hold great market share (USD 50 billion) in healthcare products, technologies and services by 2030, making full use of Medical Excellence Japan (MEJ). Through international synergies Japan aims to promote good quality and healthcare development disseminating Japanese medical technologies, practices and equipment in accordance with the status of partner countries.

Sources within the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) have confirmed that 20 companies representing the health sector in Japan will take part in the Arab Health exhibition held in Dubai towards the end of January 2017. The participant companies will showcase their latest innovations and products, ranging from healthcare and new treatment methods, to state-of-the-art devices within the healthcare sector which have positioned Japan as a leader in the industry.
