Jaguar chooses Dubai International Motor Show for the global reveal of the new Sport and Speed packs for award-winning flagship XJ saloon alongside stunning C-X75 supercar concept

Dubai, 10 November 2011: Executives from luxury automotive manufacturer Jaguar today held the global unveil for the new Sport and Speed option packs for the flagship Jaguar XJ saloon, alongside the award winning CX-75 supercar concept at the Dubai International Motor Show.

Designed to further enhance the appeal of the award-winning XJ, the Sport Pack - available throughout the XJ range - comprises a number of exterior and interior design options that clearly underline the assertive side of the car's personality. Externally the appearance of the XJ has been made even more dramatic with the addition of aerodynamically optimised changes to the bodywork and an alloy wheel design specific to the Sport Pack.

Reflecting the exterior styling changes and befitting its performance oriented remit, the XJ Sport Pack offers interior changes including optional sports seating for front and rear passengers that give driver and passengers a heightened sense of occasion and an indication of the dynamic abilities available.

The functional aerodynamic changes of the Sport Pack allow supercharged XJ models to be additionally offered with the Speed Pack, which raises the limited top speed from 155mph (250km/h) to 174mph (280km/h).

In addition, the British marquee also chose Dubai International Motor Show to showcase the stunning Jaguar C-X75 supercar, which looks set to go into production from 2013 - 2015. The Jaguar C-X75 concept vehicle turned heads worldwide when it was first unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in September 2010. The stunning range-extended electric supercar capable of reaching 330kph at a blistering acceleration rate of 0-100kph in just 3.4 seconds, offers a glimpse into the future of Jaguar and its commitment to producing beautiful, fast cars powered by sustainable means.

The Jaguar XJ Sport and Speed packs and C-X75 concept supercar will be on display at the Dubai International Motor Show from 10^th until 14^th November 2011. Also on display at the Jaguar stand is the eye-catching XKR-S, Jaguar's fastest production vehicle to date, alongside the 2012 Jaguar XFR.
