DUBAI August 29, 2004 - JABRA, the leading brand of hands-free communication products for the mobile consumer market, launches the JABRA SP100 Bluetooth speakerphone, its first entry into the mobile speakerphone category. The cordless, portable speakerphone works with the latest Bluetooth phones, allowing convenient hands-free conversations in the car, office or home.

The new speakerphone comes with two convenient car mounting accessories, a visor clip and a suction mount. The microphone features a pivoting arm which can be positioned for optimum voice pick-up. The volume can also be adjusted so that even large groups in noisy surroundings can hear phone conversations clearly.
In addition, JABRA SP100 is equipped with a mute button, which is particularly useful for telephone conferencing. Its multi-function call button supports voice-activated dialing and answer/end commands.
The lightweight speakerphone (170 grams) is primarily designed for use in the vehicle and fits with today's car interiors in multiple locations. The speakerphone requires no installation and can be moved easily from one location to another. The contoured design of JABRA SP100 allows users to place the speakerphone on a desktop for use in the office or at home.
The JABRA SP100 was also selected as one of the 2004 CES Innovations Awards Honorees in the Innovations 2004, which is a competition organized by Consumer Electronic Association (CEA), honoring product excellence in design and engineering.
The JABRA SP100 speakerphone is fully compliant with Bluetooth 1.1 or higher devices that support the headset or hands-free profile. The speakerphone has a range of up to 30 feet to a mobile phone and utilizes long-lasting, rechargeable AA batteries that can be replaced with non-rechargeable batteries. It provides up to 12 hours of talk time and up to 20 days of standby time. An AC adapter and an in-car adapter that allows use while charging are also included. The Speakerphone SP100 is similar in size to a smart phone. The JABRA SP100 will be available in the Middle East region later this year.
