Sucessful night at the World Travel Awards Middle East ceremony

Dubai, 6th May 2013 - Sunday 5th May saw the celebration of the prestigious World Travel Awards Middle East Ceremony, held at Le Royal Méridien Beach Resort & Spa in Dubai. The awards acknowledge the best in travel and tourism and JA Resorts & Hotels, who hosted the ceremony this time last year, picked up three awards, each for a different property.

JA Jebel Ali Golf Resort, the flagship Dubai beach resort received the award for 'Middle East's Leading Family Resort 2013', an award they also won in 2012. In November 2012 they also received the World Travel Award at the Grand Final in Delhi, India for 'World's Leading Family Resort 2012' an honour they hope to repeat later this year. These awards follow significant improvements at the resort including a complete refurbishment of both beachfront properties and the introduction of new family initiatives and facilities.

JA Oasis Beach Tower, the deluxe hotel apartments of the JA family also scooped up an award for 'Middle East's Leading Serviced Apartments 2013', an award they have now received for four years in a row. This award echoes the tower's past success as it was awarded the 2012 'World's Leading Serviced Apartment Hotel' for the first time at the Grand Final of the World Travel Awards late last year.

JA Ocean View Hotel, the newest addition to the growing JA portfolio took home the award for 'Dubai's Leading New Hotel 2013'. JA Ocean View Hotel only opened their doors in January this year, yet has enjoyed an average occupancy of over 90% for the first quarter of 2013.
