Al-Hamli: Ladies services at KFH started at one branch, now offered at 40 branches

Islamic Finance Club held a lecture at GUST University that was given by a group of KFH female employees to the students. The lecture discussed the role of women and their effective role they have been playing since the establishment of Kuwait Finance House (KFH) as first Islamic bank in Kuwait.

First Zone Manager Amina Al-Hamli stated that there are 40 branches for women, where they are granted the opportunity to excel and accomplish their goals. She added that the ladies section had begun with two employees, where the first female employee was Eqbal Al-Shehab. However, she mentioned that KFH currently has over 400 female employees in various sectors and departments, and 90% of those employees are Kuwaitis. This proves that KFH is keen to support female Kuwaiti students who graduate and wish to work in the banking sector.

Moreover, Branch Manager Nehal Al-Mislem said that embeds in its female employees the importance of offering the best service possible to clients, which prompted the bank to setup branches for women only. She went on to say that female clients have strong financial coverage, compared to deposits made by women during the past years.

Furthermore, Al-Tamayyuz Branch Manager Faiza Al-Maqhawy stressed the importance of having the ability to shoulder domestic and professional duties efficiently, since each role complements the other.
