Dubai - I.R.I.S. On this occasion, I.R.I.S. will make a new major release: Readiris Pro 11 - Middle East version.
I.R.I.S. will be attending this key IT event in the Middle East for the second time since the company announced the development of Arabic and Farsi OCR. Since then, this technology has been available for SMB's and large companies through I.R.I.S.' professional range of product.
Today, I.R.I.S. launches Readiris Pro 11, Middle East Version and makes it therefore possible for consumers from this region to benefit from all the latest improvement on the OCR and document management market.

It retypes scanned documents and image files and converts PDF files in editable text, maintaining the original layout and offering an unprecedented speed and OCR accuracy. NEW At the occasion of the GITEX exhibition, I.R.I.S. will release Readiris Pro 11, Middle East Edition, including Arabic recognition.
IRISPen
USB powered and connected, they transform the tedious manual encoding tasks in a fast and amusing scanning. Printed text and figures are instantly entered into any application, right at the cursor position. The IRISPen is available in the following versions: IRISPen Mini, IRISPen Express, IRISPen Executive, IRISPen Translator.
IRISCard
The IRISCard is a lightweight, portable and comprehensive business card scanning solutions that transforms business card information into electronic data useable in a manageable contact database. The IRISCard is available in two different versions: IRISCard Pro and IRISCard Mini.
All these products are available on both PC and Mac platforms except for the Arabic recognition (PC only) and the IRISPen Translator (PC only).

IRISPdf
IRISPdf 5 is a powerful OCR engine that will give you the possibility to scan and process your paper documents into electronic data. All your scanned files can be converted to the format you need and JPEG2000 enables high compression for easy archiving. IRISPdf 5 recognizes more than 120 languages. The Arabic add-on will also allow you to recognize Arabic characters. IRISPdf 5 is available in six versions packaged as separated products: IRISPdf 5 Server, IRISPdf 5 for KODAK Capture Software (KCS), IRISPdf 5 Server for KODAK Capture Software, IRISPdf 5 for Ascent Capture, IRISPdf 5 Developer Edition and the new IRISPdf 5 Server for eCopy ShareScan OP.
Readiris Pro Corporate Edition
Readiris Pro 11 Corporate Edition is the perfect solution for professional users and businesses that need to efficiently convert volumes of documents. It supports high-end scanners, MFPs (multi-function peripherals) and digital copiers and generates fully searchable PDF files. It's a professional desktop solution ideal for businesses who need to supply their Electronic Document Management system with PDF archives offering an optimized size and full text search capabilities. I.R.I.S. also develops and commercializes a Middle East Edition of its flagship software, which includes recognition of the Arabic set of characters.
iDRS
Thanks to iDRS, most of the technologies developed by I.R.I.S are now available in one package: OCR, ICR, MICR and Barcodes recognition. The iDRS is available only for Windows but I.R.I.S. also developped toolkits for Linux, Unix, and Mac. It is composed of different separated modules. Each module allows you to integrate different steps of the recognition process in your application.
IRISCapture Pro 8 for Invoices
IRISCapture Pro for Invoices is I.R.I.S.' solution for the automatic identification, recognition and indexing of paper and electronic invoices. This solution automatically extracts information from single or multi-page invoices, coming from different suppliers and countries, in different languages. After the recognition, your invoice data can be directly exported to your ERP or accounting software.
