27 July 2004 - Investcom Holding ('Investcom'), the international telecommunications group, launched today its mobile phone services, under the brand name Areeba, in Guinea Bissau. Areeba, formerly referred to as Spacetel, is the second mobile operator offering mobile phone services in the country.

Azmi Mikati Chief Executive of Investcom, said, "We are very pleased to be launching our high quality mobile telephone services here in Guinea Bissau. Areeba recognises the importance of our customers, and commits to providing them with superior customer services and competitive pricing plans to help them connect with family and friends across the country."

Areeba won its license to operate GSM mobile telecommunications services in the country in December 2003.
