InterSystems TrakCare is pre-configured to meet Saudi healthcare needs
DUBAI, UAE, 27 April, 2013--InterSystems, a global leader in software for connected healthcare, will showcase its InterSystems TrakCare® unified healthcare information system with medical device integration capability at the Ministry of Health and HIMSS Middle East Conference, which will be held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from April 30th to May 1st, 2013.
InterSystems' diamond sponsorship of the conference reinforces its continuing commitment to the Saudi healthcare market. InterSystems opened a new office in Riyadh last year, in response to the growing demand for connected healthcare in Saudi Arabia, at a time when the Saudi Ministry of Health is encouraging major healthcare providers to embrace electronic health information systems. TrakCare is available in Arabic, uses the Hijri calendar, and is pre-configured to meet the CBAHI standards and other unique Saudi healthcare needs.
InterSystems is particularly well positioned to respond to the growing demand for connected healthcare in Saudi Arabia. TrakCare®, an Internet-based unified healthcare information system, is an internationally proven solution.
Conference attendees will be able to learn more about the latest enhancements to TrakCare for clinical, administrative, analytics, and medication management at dedicated demonstration stations, where specialists will answer their questions. Attendees will also be able to see medical device integration in action by getting their blood pressure, temperature, oxygen saturation, and pulse rate measured and entered into the system right at InterSystems' booth no. 201.
Designed for decision makers at healthcare systems, the Industry Solution Session will be hosted by InterSystems on May 1st. Paul Rhodes, the former eHealth Program Director at the Scottish Government, will be presenting on the "NHS Scotland National Strategy for Hospital Information System Deployment."
"At this important conference, InterSystems will share insights from successful national deployments of TrakCare worldwide as well as the specific requirements for the Saudi market," said Michel Amous, Country Manager, Middle East and India at InterSystems.
